BENGALURU: Bengaluru has recorded two suspected cases of HMPV infection in two babies without a travel history.
While BBMP health officials have flagged the case, confirmation from the state health department is awaited.
A three-month-old baby girl was diagnosed with HMPV after being admitted to Baptist Hospital in Bengaluru with a history of bronchopneumonia. The baby has since been discharged. This is the first case of HMPV in India.
